About The Role
The Strategic Communications segment within FTI Consulting designs, develops and executes strategies for clients managing financial, regulatory, policy, and reputational challenges. For more than 35 years, we have served as trusted advisers to management teams and Boards of Directors seeking to seize opportunities, manage crises, navigate market disruptions, and preserve their right to operate. We help businesses articulate their brand and competitive position, and work with them to share their corporate messages most effectively with key stakeholders - whether these are investors, policy makers, employees or consumers, through both traditional and digital PR channels.
From Dublin, our team serves the communications needs of many of Ireland's leading public and private companies across multiple sectors including financial services, renewable energy, technology, industrials, real-estate, hospitality, aviation, FMCG, healthcare & life sciences, and agri-services. We also represent many international companies on their engagement with stakeholders in Ireland - and internationally - on a broad range of complex reputation issues. We are supported by a network of offices and colleagues in every major capital market in the world.
Our role for the communication clients we represent - which includes B2B and B2C companies - is to help build, manage, and develop their communications programmes to protect and enhance credibility with stakeholders; advance their commercial objectives; and address challenges or issues affecting their strategic ambition or value.
This means supporting client's financial communications and reporting to investors, managing their corporate reputation and brand including in crisis situations, advising on engagement with multiple stakeholder groups like media and Government. We also support clients on their digital and social footprint and on building and retaining a strong employer brand.
Our Public Affairs team works with clients of all sizes, across all sectors, to develop and deliver effective strategies to build relationships, navigate changing environments, protect reputations and influence political and policy developments.
We also have an ESG team that advises clients on best practice ESG and sustainability disclosure, working both with clients in Ireland and across the globe. Our work includes developing ESG and sustainability strategies, undertaking materiality assessments, monitoring and researching regulatory developments, and corporate governance activities.
